oh, hey Lent
And, as I was made aware of today, tomorrow is the beginning of Lent and basically every year I do give up something (but never coffee, because the universe is against that) but I think I am going to go with the super over-used route and go with: No Junk Food! Because being in college and the fact that there is a plethora of junk food a mere minute below me, I have been ridiculously bad about...

his was the first face that you saw, you were probably blind before you met him.”

cassygolightly:
I just received an anonymous question asking me if I’d ever been in love and I almost answered it point blank before deciding to elaborate here.
I think you should fall in love as often as possible, but never put too much stock in it. Love changes with time because people change with time. I no longer love the people I once thought I did, and whether or not “real love” can...
I feel like a bad person for always thinking this: but about the Milgrim experiment people always talk about how controversial it is, and yeah, it truly was but I think to some extent society needed to understand just how messed up they are when it comes to authority. Not ethical in the least, but it is visionary and a brilliant understanding of people.

thoughts of the night:
The amount of things I post on the internet seem to increase as I have more things that I need to be doing at the moment. Though I am done with school learning for today (I may be fun learning right now though).
But I was looking through DSM IV personality, mood and anxiety disorders and I was thinking about abnormal psych and how passionate that made me. I mean there are people out there with...

“Passion has little to do with euphoria and everything to do with patience. It is not about feeling good. Its about endurance. Like patience, passion comes from the same Latin root: Pati. It does not mean ‘to flow with exuberance.’ It means to suffer.”

“When I came back from death it was morning the back door was open and one of the buttons on my shirt had disappeared.”
thoughts of the moment:
1) My back is killing me so bad right now. And I have yoga in 90 minutes. I am insanely sick of this going on. Right now I just want to lay down and not move, ever. Pain, baby.
2) I have $399 left on my dining account. Obviously, I busted out my calculator: I can buy 130+ 16 oz. Americanos in the next two weeks! Because, really, the only thing I am buying these days is coffee.
3) Today has been...

1. Don’t fear the Gods 2. Don’t fear Death 3. The Good is Easy to Acquire 4. Pain and Evil are Easy to Endure
These things I need to remember. My head is a mess right now.
my thoughts at the moment:
a) i feel like tomorrow, in order to achieve optimal productivity to just turn my phone off for the day and do my best to go MIA. (which, by that I mean spend all day at a cafe doing homework but not have my phone to distract me.)
b) i really, really, really want to take Modern Philosophy, so I am thinking that if Human Sexuality fills up before B. can register, then I may drop that class and...

Rachel: ahhhh! So I definitely put the Christmas tree up today.
Anna: GOOD.
Rachel: SO HAPPY.
Anna: oh my god so great! It's not early or anything. But it would be too mainstream to wait until december.
Rachel: EXACTLY.
