oh, hey Lent
And, as I was made aware of today, tomorrow is the beginning of Lent and basically every year I do give up something (but never coffee, because the universe is against that) but I think I am going to go with the super over-used route and go with: No Junk Food! Because being in college and the fact that there is a plethora of junk food a mere minute below me, I have been ridiculously bad about eating more than enough junky food. And I was trying to get myself off of that anyway, so now I am making it official.
NO JUNK FOOD, includes:
- NO chocolate
- NO candy
- NO biscuits or cookies
- NO cake, donuts, or muffins
- NO pastries
- NO white bread
- NO chips
- NO nutella or peanut butter
- NO ice cream
Low down, I have never eaten white bread so that isn’t a problem; cookies, muffins and pastries aren’t a problem until they appear in my cluster (and they ALWAYS appear!); chocolate and peanut butter are gonna be killer.
I’m still unsure if I should give myself a free-day Sunday (Cuz Wikipedia just told me that is how Lent religiously goes, apparently?)
